Doc Alton is a new workflow model developed by Alton Healthcare. Alton Healthcare seeks to partner with four types of medical practices: private practices, hospital-owned practices, newly established practices, and community health centers. Alton Healthcare will utilize a franchise-like model to leverage the credit-capability of a physician / hospital to build quality medical commercial real estate for the practice. The real estate will be a partnership between Alton Healthcare and the physician / hospital practice and generate balance sheet benefits for both parties.

At the practice level, a Doc Alton physician practice is built around a proprietary clinical and process design which dramatically increases the capacity of a small to medium sized practice.

Ultimately, when a physician partners with Alton Healthcare and becomes a Doc Alton practice, they find themselves spending their “hands-on” time with the sickest patients, spending less time on administrative duties, and taking home a greater amount of personal income. Alton Healthcare’s partnership proposal also includes partnering with the physician to build commercial, medical real estate based on the proprietary Alton patient flow model.

A Doc Alton practice will also be provided with Alton Healthcare’s proprietary technology and practice support services to remove the administrative burden from the physician (while the physician continues to own their practice). Within 6-8 months of signing with Alton, a physician practice will move into their new clinical space, in a paperless environment, with full scheduling and billing support. The clinical model, involving mid-level nurse practitioners / physician assistants, and new office layout will allow them to more than triple their current patient capacity.

As Alton Healthcare builds the number of partnerships, patients will be able to walk into Doc Alton practices across the United States and find a comfortable, familiar, and friendly environment.
